🌟 This week’s golden opportunity is to become more personally sovereign with Saturn in Aries by taking full responsibility for your life choices and the world that you create with them. 🌟
Sovereignty.
Say that out loud as you read it: Sovereignty.
Read it slowly and deliberately, with authority. Feel the vibrations in your voice box as you speak it, notice how it lands in your body, listen to the way your heart responds.
Say it louder because it’s a big word. Say it even louder because sovereignty - by its own definition - does not mess around. There’s no skating around sovereignty, there’s no hiding in the back of the class with your head down in the hopes that it will call on somebody else. Because the buck stops with sovereignty, and whether or not you feel prepared, you will be held fully responsible.
And this is, in fact, how things work for us humans. We are at all times fully responsible for our energy, and - because our energy is what creates our experience of reality - this means that we are also at all times fully responsible for the reality we create. I know this might sound harsh, that sometimes sovereignty is a really bitter pill to swallow. Because there are just so many things that we would never consciously choose, because there are just so many other people out there in the world making choices that affect us in upsetting ways.
But sovereignty is not concerned about whether you knowingly chose a particular course of action, and it’s certainly not concerned about what anyone else is doing. Sovereignty is here for you and you alone, and it will keep on reminding you that you have agency over every single thing that is stored in your subconscious. Your energy is your energy, and as lost, confused and completely overwhelmed as you might feel when something unpleasant shows up in your life, your energetic sovereignty remains firmly in place.
It remains because this is the quantum structure of Our Universe. You are not a puppet, you are the all-powerful awareness that observes yourself - and the world around you - into existence. This is great news, because it means that you can use your awareness to change yourself and your world whenever and however you like. You do not have to agree with anyone else’s observations about you or what you see before you; it is only your observation that counts for you.1
This is how sovereignty can set you free, when you realize that you are only ever truly answerable to yourself. It’s also why it is so valuable to widen your perceptual lens, which is - in its biggest sense - simply an exercise in expanding your awareness of yourself.2 And the best way to start doing this is to fully own your energy. Accept that everything you experience is flowing through you, and then keep wiping away the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual residue until the world looks dazzlingly alive.
The wake-up call of quantum sovereignty comes (as always) at the perfect time. Last night’s Full Moon beamed down on us from the sign of Capricorn, known for its emphasis on regal responsibility. Capricorn is playing for keeps, and it demands steadfast commitment to quality if you are to build a kingdom that supports your dreams. In its highest virtues, it is a place that offers us the divine diligence and spiritual self-sufficiency we need to cultivate the wisdom we came here to harvest. And when we falter in fear, Capricorn offers us a heavy crown to help us feel the weight of what we are silently carrying.
Capricorn’s ruling representative - steadfast Saturn - sits stationary in the sign of Aries right next to its nebulous neighbor Neptune. Aries eagerly connects us with the immense personal power we hold as individual actors, and it shows us how we can command the force of Our Universe when we come from a place of wholeness. Saturn in Aries stands for the principle that we are accountable for what we put out into the world and the experience we thereby create for ourselves in every moment (more on that here). And with Neptune’s nudge to consider the infinite possibilities that exist for our existence, Saturn now deeply wants you (and me) to commit to the vast, untapped potential we have to live as the joyful, creative beings we are meant to be.
Together, Saturn and Neptune make magic manifest, and Full Moons have a wonderful way of bringing things to light through stupefying synchronicity. So it’s no surprise that as I paused to scarf a fried egg sandwich while writing this post, I tuned into an interview from my friend
and heard her awe-inspiring guest Dr. David Clements speak the power of energetic sovereignty into being:“That is the route back to self-empowerment, to realize - ‘Okay, how am I doing this to myself?’ Forget X, Y, Z going on out there, how can I change myself so I can remove those limitations and move deeper into that potential which is slowly starting to awaken? And day by day, it will get stronger and stronger and stronger.”
I have my own take to add, too. Or rather, I have an angelic3 take to add from a jaw-dropping session I shared with my exceptionally talented hypnotherapist Melissa.4 While I was under, we spoke extensively with Archangel Sandalphon about the quality of sovereignty. He told us that in order to be sovereign, we have to stop trying to control our environment and start creating with it. We must admit that it is always, forever and exclusively us who can choose to exercise dominion over our destiny, and we must accept that we can only act from a place of wholeness when we work in harmony with all that we have hidden from ourselves. Amen. 🙏
I hope yesterday’s Full Moon and Sunday’s Saturn station5 will find you in place to exercise more energetic sovereignty, that they give you a chance to bring yourself more in line with the bright future that you deserve.
