🌟 This week’s golden opportunity is to DROP EVERYTHING AND BE HERE NOW with the Solar Eclipse in Aries 🌟
It’s never felt more Now.
It was Now a minute ago, and now it’s Now again. Yup, I just checked my watch and it’s still Now.
I’m looking around the kitchen and I see that my phone, my electric oven and my digital radio are all displaying different numbers, but - even as I look at these varying takes on what time it is - I can’t argue that it’s not Now. Because I know that my oven isn’t in the future any more than my radio is in the past. They are here Now.
So while seconds, minutes, and hours are all perfectly valid ways to measure time, the only thing we can really be sure of is that it’s always Now.
The more I notice that it’s Now, the more Now it feels. I’m writing this Now and you’re reading it Now. We could pretend I wrote it before and you read it after, but really it’s happening at the same time which is Now.
And check this out, I’ll do a magic trick for you. Poof! I just made the person who wrote that last sentence disappear. He’s gone, vanished into thin air. It’s just me here Now - and I’m not looking at a blank screen, I’m looking at a freshly constructed new paragraph under a picture of an absurdly accurate clock.
This is all the proof I need to know that we can only ever be here Now. We are so Now-ish that it hurts. We are Now-y beings in an ever more Now-y Universe. Even when we want to forget where we are - when we wish to get lost in a memory about where we were or a dream about where we’re going - we can only ever do that Now. It turns out that being here in this very moment is an invitation we simply can’t refuse, so let me be the first officially welcome you to Now!
This warm welcome to (remember that you only) live in the 🎁present comes as a generous 🎁gift from tomorrow’s Solar Eclipse in Aries. Aries is arguably the most Now-ful of signs with its impressive impulse for immediacy, and this particular eclipse is especially Now-tastic as it sits with the North Node of the Moon. The North Node draws destiny into our lives with vigor and aplomb, and - boosted by the super-powered New Moon energy of a Solar Eclipse - it might feel a little bit like being dropped into a totally blank chapter of Now.📖 Or more accurately, if you account for all of the amplified Aries Point activations, it probably feels like being dropped into a brand new book of Now.📕 Maybe even a new library of Now.📚
Whatever it feels like for you, this Eclipse is clearly here to help us to reconnect with what our lives are offering us right here and right now. Personally, my life is 🎁present-ing me with so many situations that demand my instant and full attention that I’m being constantly forced to detach from the plans for the future that I inevitably made in the past. It’s happening on a grand scale (what will I do with the next decade of my life?) and it’s happening on a petite scale (what will I do this afternoon?) - it’s like my calendar has been nuked, there’s just one page and it says NOW.
It’s notable that the ruler of Aries (and hence this Solar Eclipse) - Mars - is now sitting in the sign of Cancer, a place for waxing nostalgically about the sweetness of times gone by. Mars is famous for its spectacular severing quality, and in Cancer it promises to help us cut away all the pre-existing narratives we unconsciously reprint in our present reality.1
Of all the planets, perhaps Mars most understands the quantum truth of Our Universe that the next moment in time bears no relation to the previous moment2 - which means you are never beholden to carry forward any thought, belief, emotion or story into the Now that is forever. Or to put this more succinctly as Aries demands: Every moment of Now is entirely new.3 And while you can tell yourself a story about how you got here and where you’re going, you’re only ever really living in a single moment which is Now. So if you choose for things to be different, they already are. This is how instantaneous healing happens, and it also shows how psi phenomena like teleportation are possible.
On an emotional level, Now-ness is also a permission slip to forgive, forget and forge forwards. I love forgiveness because it is so easy to see that it’s wholly available Now. Think about it: You can at any point in time decide to fully and completely let go of a grudge you’re holding onto just by deciding not to hold it anymore. This is a miracle.
As I look around at my life in the shadow of tomorrow’s eclipse, I’m seeing how so many people - including me - are feeling called to be more open, honest, direct and confident in how they move through the world. These are the virtues of Aries, and when we claim the courage to bring them into our hearts, we create moment-um for a more loving future. So be brave enough to stand up for yourself and the love you have for the world. And if it gets frightening, then feel the fear and do it anyway.
In this spirit, let me offer you my own public proclamation: My name is Patrick and I believe in angels. Yes, actual angels. I’ve known about them for a long time. I’ve done angel meditations and I’ve built angel committees. I’ve worked with an angel guide and I’m even a certified angelic light-weaver. And then this month, angels started talking to me much more directly. The synchronicities have been mind-blowing, and the messages are now so clear that they leave zero room for doubt.4 It’s also a profoundly enlightening experience to be aware that I am surrounded by this much love at all times, and I would wish this for every single person on the planet.
I realize this is crazy talk to the prevailing materialist paradigm, an outlook that prizes the primacy of the physical plane over the foundational nature of consciousness itself. And I get why it sounds nuts to believe in angels because I grew up in a society saturated with that outlook; I learned to let my rational brain lead and ended up thinking my way into the hallowed halls of Yale Law School. But as smart as I (thought I) was, I was wrong. Because there is so much more to Our Universe than matter, and there is so much more to life than a set of biological processes.
So let there be no mistake: Love exists. Even if it can’t be weighed, measured, bought or sold, it is here. So are angels. I believe.🪽
Love,
Patrick

I’m really struck here that the French word for now - “maintenant” - translates literally to “maintaining.” This so beautifully recognizes how we are accustomed to bringing circumstances with us from a previous version of reality into the current version of reality we are experiencing.

I just looked up the etymology of Now and its root word is New. Of course!
If you’d like to get a flavor for the way that angels communicate, the wonderfully grounded Suzanne Giesemann shares her own well-documented story about a day she spent with Archangel Michael. Hearing Suzanne talk about this encounter jumpstarted my own angelic communication in the most fantastic way, ushering in a similar series of events while I was listening and opening the door to more direct communication as I went to bed that evening.
Thank you Patrick & Judy.. loved & shared ♥️🙏
I agree with this and really enjoyed reading your words, the message was clear and it was beautifully written. I watched the meditation and burst into tears...not sure why exactly, but I did. So, *deep breath*, thank you for that, I think. I don't know exactly where to aim right now, but I appreciate this reminder not to try to aim anywhere, but to accept and rejoice in the gift of "now." As a Sag, that is sometimes hard to do. ;)
