I LOVE this, Patrick.

"I’m the one who meowed, the one who bought the Day of the Dead coloring book, the one who turned off the lights and put on the Swedish EDM"!!

"weirdness has something to do with novelty and social convention" <––––

More... And The Americans is so good!

I've lost my weird in the need for practicality right now. Looking forward to finding it again!

Maybe there are weird ways to be practical, too - I put unicorn stickers on my taxes 🦄 And YES, The Americans is so good! I finished it. I just love an end that’s a beginning.

Weird is one of my favourite words, along with its Old English mother, "wyrd". It means to have the power to control fate, to spin & weave energy as you wish. I'm happy to own this word with wild abandon!

I'm sure we've both danced around more than a few cauldrons in past centuries as we honed our weird skills!

Oooh what a wonderful etymology! Thank you for sharing, now weird feels fun AND powerful. Definitely time to get the cauldron out 🧙

Love this, Patrick! I've always felt a little weird, but I started to see it as my unique special sauce a few years ago. Excited for Pluto in Aquarius, as I've wondered if we can normalize weirdness and take a more inclusive perspective. Also chocolate chip potato pancakes sound delicious! 😹

I love weirdness as a passport to inclusion! And maybe I’ll try that recipe, I made chocolate cream cheese bagels this week and can report it’s a roaring success. Maybe chocolate just goes with everything 🍫
